2012 NEW ENGLAND REGION ECAC TRYOUT SCHEDULED TO OPERATE IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 11TH ANNUAL LOWELL PANTHER "CLAW THE BALL" TOURNAMENT MARCH 30-APRIL 1, 2012 WITH CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION BEGINNING AT 6:00PM THE EVENING OF MARCH 30TH.

***ECAC TRYOUT INFORMATION***March 30-April 1, 2012: Session #1 of THE REFEREE SCHOOL will be used by Ken Nosek, Dan Picard and Joe Rocha as an ECAC New England tryout for interested officials.

**THIS WILL BE THE ONLY ECAC TRYOUT PRIOR TO THE 2012-2013 SEASON CONDUCTED IN NEW ENGLAND**

SESSION 1: March 30-April 1, 2012 Session #1 provides an opportunity for officials to learn the Women's CCA 3-person system. PLEASE CONTACT DAN PICARD AT 978-689-5676 OR BY EMAIL DPICARDECAC@GMAIL.COM FOR MORE INFORMATION REGARDING USING THIS AS THE ECAC TRYOUT.

SESSION 2: March 31-April 1, 2012

SESSION 2 will be used by Larry McIntire, Dan Picard and Joe Rocha as an opportunity to observe officials for potential high school assignments. This is an outstanding opportunity for interested officials to receive extensive 2-person classroom instruction, feedback following on-court assignments and be observed by area Coordinators.

SESSION Learn to be an R: March 30-April 1, 2012

LEARN TO BE AN R will be a 3-day clinic restricted to current ECAC officials looking to learn how to be an R. This program includes housing and is limited to the first 24 applicants who became ECAC officials in 2008-2011. This is an outstanding opportunity for interested officials to receive 3-person classroom instruction, feedback following on-court assignments and be observed by the area Coordinators.

SESSION 3: March 30-31, 2011

SESSION 3 will be used by the ECAC Coordinators to work with the staff members who joined the staff in 2009-2011. This is an outstanding opportunity for interested officials to receive 3-person classroom instruction, feedback following on-court assignments and be observed by the area Coordinators.
